In the past 60 years since our hospital foundation,
through the hard work of several generation, the ophthalmology
department have developed to a professional team which have several
specialties. We have a experienced professional staff and s set of
advanced medical apparatus, such as phacoemulcification apparatus,
the apparatus for posterior segment disease diagnosis and treatment,
laser apparatus for refractive surgery, the sequencing of glaucoma
screening, diagnosis and treatment. Accompanied with the society
development , we add the clinic special department of diabetic
retinopathy we launched complicate operation other than routine
operation. Such as complicated eye injury operation, complicate
cataract operation, combined operation of cataract and glaucoma;
combined operation of anterior segment and posterior segment.
Artificial globe implantation, cornea transplantation and so on. We
were awarded as the center of cataract eye sight restore and low
vision rehabilitation in Beijing haidian district. In 2003, we take
on the duty of health railway cataract eyesight recovery assigned by
Ministry of Public Health in 2004,and bring light to thousands of
poor cataract patients. We think highly of scientific research and
teaching and we are the cultivation site of post-graduate of Peking
university health center and the teaching base of Peking university
health center. Scientific research feature: the myopia mechanism and
Pediatric ophthalmology have achieved the domestic leading level. We
have accomplished several important research subject in cooperation
with the TongRen hospital Peking university health center and 301
hospital.
